Hello Monday

 Happy Monday everyone!
I want to thank you for the comments and numerous emails I received after writing this post. It seems I have not been alone after all. That those feelings are shared by many right now, and all over the country.
Knowing I was not the only one really encouraged me.
I'm reading Angie's new book right now and to paraphrase something she wrote:
"The enemy wants us to suffer from silence. To feel as if we're the only one feeling/going through what we're experiencing. He traps us in that place and loves doing it to us."
I found myself nodding my head when I read that. I believe that 100% .
Moving on, we've had a busy few weeks around here.
For one, the little gymnast had her first competition this weekend.
I can't tell you how excited we all were, but especially her.
Was she nervous? Yes.
But we prayed about it together and she learned something new- that she loved every minute of the competition! It was a joy to watch her face through it all.
In between her events she was jumping all over the place!
Of course both sides of our family came out to support her-grandmas, grandpas,great-grandparents, an aunt, uncle & his girlfriend. She loved having them there to support her.

During the awards ceremony she got 4 medals and a trophy(mostly participation stuff). She thought the medals were OK but when they handed her the trophy her face burst into smiles.
So cute.
We love you and are proud of you, sweet girl.
No matter what you do in life we'll be there to support you all the way.
God has blessed you with various talents and we are excited to see what He's going to do in your life in the years to come.
Love,
"Momma"
xoxo
Linking up here with Lisa today.

Wow, that's so wonderful that your daughter is able to do this! I'm sure she loved her whole (extended) family coming to support her!
