Hello Monday. And Snow. And Ice

It's been snowing again.
On Friday we all got out of school early because of the threat of the newest storm. We ended up with about six or seven inches.
We've been spending lots of time with Eric's family lately. As I mentioned here, he's been working on his parents' kitchen. But we've also celebrated some birthdays and prayed with his grandma who needed to have a medical procedure done.
All in all, its been great to be helping them out in various ways.
They're so much fun to be around.

Our weekend was a nice quiet one, due to the snow. Gymnastics practice was cancelled on Friday night, as well, so we lounged around and just enjoyed each others' company.
Eric's been working on the finishing touches of his brother's Christmas present- a handmade Baseball Pinball machine he's been making. Seriously, its blowing my mind. I'll have to share photos here soon.

And today we're slated for an ice storm.
Ah, the joys of living in New York in February.
A day off from school perhaps?
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
And I just had to share this sign with you.
Because as much as I love all four of us being home together on breaks and weekends, this holds true in our home:

This week will be a busy one for us- we'll be saying hello to practice, a haircut, a snow-related field trip(on Valentines Day, no less), Celebrating the big Day with my hubby(after said field trip), Teacher Inservice the following day, practice #2, a birthday party and a long holiday weekend.
Eric is prepping for an upcoming speaking engagement at a local church.
They asked him to come in and speak to a group of fathers and sons and he is excited and honored to be asked.
So what's on your agenda for the week ahead?
I'm linking up here with Lisa today
