Yesterday I dug out a brand new skirt that I've never worn. A polka dotted one, no less!
(If you're new here, I happen to love polka dots).
Its silky with a built in slip(bonus!)
It was a splurge for me when I bought it because everything I buy is usually from a second hand store or thrift shop. But it was totally worth it.
At school I have a dress code to follow just like the students. But I try not to look frumpy.
I paired this with a black top, warm cowl and belt.
The bowtie shoes were an end-of-the-year clearance find at Payless a few years ago. I think I paid seven dollars for them at the time.
So there ya have it: my polka dotted, bowtie, cowl outfit.
Its been ages since I linked up with Lindsey and the others for What I Wore Wednesday. Hop on over to be inspired by nearly 300 others who make an effort to get dressed and out of sweats each week.

We're instantly best friends. I'm basically obsessed with polka dots.
Loving this skirt so much...where'd you get it from?
Sarah, I just have to throw out there that you look gorgeous and extremely well put-together as always! I'm not really sure you OWN sweat pants (though that would be a shame) since I don't recall ever seeing you wear them!
May you be blessed today as you walk with God and fulfill His calling on your life for this season!
That skirt is killer! Fun statement but so versatile! Might need to find me something like that...

And Jessica I must tell you I laughed right out loud when I read your comment above. I'm glad it looks that way but it must just be the mirror or camera angle. Its something I desperately need to work on!
Awesome! Thanks for your kind words today! :) I love your skirt! Nothing like a fun pattern to put zing in the step, right?
