Ok, here it is! Im finally getting around to posting this amazing recipe for you all to try out! What better day than Memorial Day to make and take this to your family picnic. Today I'll be adding blueberries to mine for that extra special patriotic touch!

Ingredients:

2 quarts strawberries,sliced

2 TBSP. sugar

2 TBSP Almond Extract(I made this a month ago w/out this ingredient & it was still yummy but its even better with it)

2- 8 oz. blocks of cream cheese, softened

1 c. Sour Cream

2 c. powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. almond extract

16 oz. tub whipped topping(or 1 pint cream, whipped)

1 Large Angel food or pound cake, torn into pieces

PREP:

Set aside some berries for garnish

Mix the rest with sugar & almond extract. Set aside

Mix Cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, vanilla & almond extract

Fold in whipped cream

LAYER:

In the trifle bowl: 1/2 cake, 1/2 berries, 1/2 cream cheese mixture, repeat layers

*I get THREE layers from this recipe so I do 1/3 of each...*

Garnish with remaining berries

Refrigerate

ENJOY!!!!
